This is a wiki dedicated to the Kyojin Cinematic Universe, a cinematic universe with dozens of Kaiju fan-films all interconnected, mainly starring Godzilla, Gamera, and King Kong.
What is the Kyojin Cinematic Universe?[]
The Kyojin Cinematic Universe started out as simply a Godzilla fan-film series called the Kyojin Godzilla Series made by G&G-Fan, a Godzilla YouTuber. The series started in May of 2016 when the original version of Godzilla Returns started production. Originally, the series was simply going to be a sequel to the original 1954 Godzilla film. It would've been a trilogy, starting with Godzilla Returns, continuing with Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah: Battle for Earth, and ending with Godzilla vs. The Robot Monsters. However, after the release of the original version of Godzilla vs. The Robot Monsters, it was decided to do much more with the series. A new origin for Godzilla was thought up of, resulting in Godzilla: God of Monsters, which would replace the original 1954 Godzilla's place in the continuity and therefore, it became it's own universe not connected to any Toho film.
It was also decided that there would be spin-offs featuring other monsters (which inevitably led to the inclusion of Gamera and King Kong), there would be more Godzilla films then the original three planned, some after Godzilla vs. The Robot Monsters and some in-between all three films, and all three of the originals would be completely remade with not only better visuals (much more stop motion animation and green screen), but their stories would be completely overhauled. This led to the idea of a cinematic universe primarily starring Godzilla, Gamera, and King Kong, as well as many other kaiju from the Godzilla, Gamera, and Ultraman universe. Now the Kyojin Cinematic Universe has become much bigger than originally intended, most likely the biggest series of kaiju fan films ever created. The plan now is to have a big cinematic universe with many films directed by multiple people (including G&G-Fan, Moorezilla Films, ASamCalledSam, etc.) featuring tons of monsters from a multitude kaiju eiga, some of which have never appeared alongside Godzilla or other monsters in the series before.
This wiki is the official encyclopedia for the series written by the producers, and you will be able to read information about all of the films in the series, the series' portrayal of different monsters, and the human characters in the films.
